Whatever your sailing ability, Exeter University Sailing Club has something for you. After winning BUSA team racing championships in 2017 and again in 2019, therefore being the top rank in the BUCS league tables, EUSC caters for experienced racers and complete beginners alike. Since 1949, we’ve been getting students on the water, offering chilled BBQs, national level competition and everything in between.
Whether it’s fleet racing, team racing or yachting that interests you, EUSC has a team for you. Throughout the year we send teams around the country to compete against other Universities in all disciplines, regularly finishing in podium positions. Closer to home, we run a weekly fleet racing series at Roadford Lake with prizes to be won at Christmas and End of Season Dinner.
Our casual section attracted over 300 sailors last year. With BBQs, club days and weekly trips with instructors on hand all included within your membership, EUSC offers the perfect opportunity to get out on the water or learn to sail. On top of this, weekly socials, intramural sports teams and black tie dinners means that there’s plenty to get involved with off the water too.
